About Beta Theta Chapter
On behalf of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Beta Theta Chapter, welcome to our webpage!
Since 1933, Beta Theta Chapter has maintained a rich legacy of service in the greater Seattle area. Under the leadership of our International President & CEO, Charletta Wilson Jacks, Beta Theta is Championing Service through a strong focus on eight programming targets with a central focus on our signature program: AKA Foster the Future. These targets include: Educational Support and Advocacy, AKA Family Matters, Health Awareness and Well-Being, Economic Growth and Success, Environmental & Sustainability Action, Arts Advocacy and Cultural Awareness, The Global Community, and Undergraduate Impact Program.
As we celebrate over 90 years of service, the Beta Theta Chapter remains committed to upholding the purpose of Alpha Kappa Alpha as outlined by our Founders in 1908 and will continue to be steadfast in our pursuit to deliver service to all mankind.
College campuses included in Beta Theta’s charter include the University of Washington - Seattle and Seattle University.
