International Program Overview

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is dedicated to engaging our sisterhood to implement impactful programs of service that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of our local, national, and international communities, while also working to protect fundamental rights for all.

Our International Program theme for 2022-2026 is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood. Service and sisterhood will always remain at the heart of AKA, and through the years, the scope of services we have been able to provide to our communities has grown exponentially – which has allowed us to significantly improve the quality of life for people worldwide.

The Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood has six initiatives, with Strengthen Our Sisterhood being the “Foundation Initiative” the rest are built on. The additional five initiatives include: Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift Our Local Community.
