Welcome to Delta Upsilon Omega's website, Seattle Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was the trailblazer that established the foundation of sororities for African American women over 115 years ago. Since our inception in 1948, Delta Upsilon Omega devoted itself to the mission of our distinguished organization, continued the legacy of excellence while serving the Greater Seattle area and surrounding community. Our membership continues to implement relevant award-winning programming for the African American community in alignment with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® International program.  We remain committed to serving as dedicated leaders and agents of change while addressing disparities within our communities.

With more than 120,000 active members to lead on the front lines of change, education, and advocacy, Service and Sisterhood have been the cornerstone of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1908. With the theme Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, the 2022-2026 administration seeks to build upon Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s rich legacy of service by galvanizing our sisterhood under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed. Delta Upsilon Omega is pleased to support the administration's six initiatives as we strengthen our sisterly bonds and support service to all mankind.
